    Tantallon, NS - As the ice glistens and the puck drops, the excitement of the SEDMHA hockey tournament fills the air. We had the pleasure of speaking with Deirdre Robinson, a dedicated parent of two players in this year's tournament; Callum of the U15 team, and Josh of the U13 squad.

    Traveling all the way from Kilkenny, Ireland, Deirdre’s family feels the journey is worth every moment, as she describes the two fantastic ice rinks in one building at the St. Margaret’s Centre and the overwhelming sense of community and hospitality they encountered upon arrival. “The welcome has been unbelievable,” she said, reflecting on the kindness shown by the local families and the support they received.
