In this episode I discuss what it is that makes drone warfare distinct from other forms of warfare. While it's probably common sense to think that the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle is the secret sauce, I don't agree. I get into the weeds a little here on the current use of drones and algorithmic targeting in Gaza, as well as the original use of drones in Iraq and Afghanistan.
