    Texas, according to Sid Miller, is at a breaking point with our need for more water. It needs to be an intentional priority of the 89th legislative session to secure funding for plans that will actively ensure Texas has enough water to handle all of its various needs.

    Eagle Pass is eerily silent these days, but is that because Kamala Harris has performed well as a border czar, or is it because Texas finally had enough and secure our own border? As it turns out, the answer is both; Texas built the wall, secured the water, and Kamala Harris, realizing her unfavourability in the polls, started trying to pretend that she's tough on the border.

    A Teacher at Chandler Elementary School in Brownsboro, Texas has been arrested for injuring a student, which reinforces the consistent problems we've been seeing from the public school system recently.

    A board meeting in Mckinney has been characterized by ignoring residents' growing concerns with the district, as well as members actively mocking those residents for daring to dissent.

    Houston Mayor John Whitmire reached an agreement with a municipal employee union that raises pay consistently over the next few years, but will likely end up costing taxpayers even more (despite claims to the contrary).

    Former Houston police officer Gerald Goines was convicted of two counts of murder for his involvement in a no knock raid in 2019; this no-knock raid was specifically issued due to lies he told.

    Fort Bend County Judge KP George was indicted for his participation in the social media hoax run by Taral Patel aka Antonio Scallywag; considering his claims that he was a "witness" and not a suspect, this indictment is damning.

    Former Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Vice President was found guilty of using his position to defraud victims of $2.8 million.

    A secret vote taken by half of the Texas House Republicans has centralized the Republican base around David Cook to challenge current Speaker Dade Phelan.
