  • The 12 Step Program Didn't Work For Me. Here's Why.

    I want to acknowledge the great work that all of the Alcoholic Anonymous (AA), Narcotic Anonymous (NA), and Gamblers Anonymous (GA) groups do.  I know they and their 12 Step Program have brought much hope and health to so many.  Unfortunately, there were so many elements of the 12 steps of AA that did not sit well with me.  The Addiction Healing Pathway is in some way a response to those underlying philosophical differences I had with what I saw and heard.
