Dr. Spezzano demonstrated the elements of eros in St. Thomas Aquinas's understanding of the Eucharist. She received her Ph.D in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and her Masters of Liturgical Studies from the Liturgical Institute. She is the author of The Glory of God's Grace: Deification According to St. Thomas Aquinas. Her writings have been published in Nova et Vetera, Cistercian Studies, and Antiphon.
