Today, we're going to be looking at self-care, which is something that both you and I, I know, are very passionate about. Admittedly, we're passionate about all of these things, but self-care, I think, is one of those where, regardless of your stage of life, there's a real opportunity to do some really small changes, or actually look at what you're doing, give yourself a thumbs-up, and do a few easy tweaks.
Our interview this week is with Ian Humble, an emergency retrieval physician. He's one of those people that ride around on rescue helicopters and step in when tragedy happens, and life can be at its most challenging. That's going to be an exciting interview.
This week we're looking at The Resilience Project by Hugh Van Cuylenburg. It's going to be an interesting one because I think there are some really good takeaways. The book itself, I'm going to challenge Tom on whether, or not, I think it's the best book out there.
Finally, for our neuroplasticity section, in this episode, we are going to look at the other end of self-care. We're going to discuss how you can use your brain's malleability to improve your well-being. So listeners, an exciting episode, let's dive in.
