  • サマリー

  • Hello and welcome to the CueClub Podcast with me, your host, Kev Teasdale. What’s it going to be about? Through each episode I’ll be joined by a range of guests from the world of snooker, pool and 9 ball. From world champions and big money match players to flair and county players, we’ll discuss who they are, how they got there and where they are going. Who are their biggest inspirations? What do they do when they’re away from the table? What is their training regime like? What made them pick up a cue? Not only that, I’ll also feature cue makers, be joined by owners of our favourite venues and hear from some of the top people who make cuesports the great game it is. Having played and loved these sports for the majority of my life, I am extremely fortunate to have met so many different characters from the world of cuesports - some I’d rather forget and some which are simply unforgettable. It is these individuals, along with my love and passion for the games, which has inspired me to start this Podcast. Join me to discover more about the players and people behind the white.

  • Snooker Player- Martin Gould
    2021/05/30

On this episode of The CueClub Podcast I'm joined by 'The Pinner Potter' Martin Gould.

I'm a big  fan of Martin having watched most of his career to date and have always been impressed with not only his obvious snooker ability, but also his honesty and heart on the sleeve attitude.

Martin is currently ranked 25 in the world and has had a very successful career, one which would see him rise to a career high world number 11.

He lost out twice in claiming a world ranking event title, first in 2011 and then in 2015 before lifting the trophy at the 2016 German Masters.

Join us as we discuss his 8-ball career, life choices, mental health and how he came back from being 1 frame away from falling off the tour.

Martin currently works with Stephen Feeney at Sightright UK.

He also mentioned Jason Cleemow as his Osteopath.

Martin is extremely approachable and is available for not only exhibitions but if there are any up and coming snooker players who are looking to practice, they can message him directly. Now you don't get an offer like that very often, do you?!
