About Tony Jacobsen: "I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare disorder that makes my bones brittle. I’ve suffered 75 fractures, and have had 12 surgical procedures. Each of the long bones in my legs is equipped with steel rods. I used a wheelchair when I was a kid, started using crutches in high school, and took my first unassisted steps when I was 24 years old.

At 42, I thought I’d had a heart attack and was prompted to make some big changes. It was quite a journey as I navigated the delicate relationship between exercise and my brittle bones. But once I did, it was magic! I'm the healthiest I've ever been, and I realize how much I can help others get past their barriers!
