  • 60: "Creating Jobs" Might Be Breaking the Constitution
    2026/04/30

Congress wants to save the Sequoias and create jobs… but do they actually have the authority to do it?

In this episode, we break down two major bills and ask the bigger question:

Is government staying within its constitutional limits?

    We cover:

The Save Our Sequoias Act 🌲
The Made in America Jobs Act 🏭
    What the Constitution actually allows
Why this matters for your liberty and rights

Good intentions don’t justify unlimited power.
If the rule of law fades, freedom goes with it.

  • 59: Congress Keeps Missing the REAL Problem
    2026/04/16

Congress is proposing a balanced budget amendment, moving to recognize homeschool graduates, and even updating a transportation advisory committee…

But are these efforts actually addressing the real problem—or making it worse?

In this episode of The Free Man’s Podcast, we break down three key pieces of legislation and ask the deeper question:

Are we solving issues the right way—or just expanding federal power?

    The Bigger Issue

    The question isn’t just:
Are these policies good or bad?

    The real question is:
Does the federal government have the authority to do this at all?

Because when government operates outside its constitutional limits, even good intentions can lead to:

    Expansion of unchecked power
    Erosion of liberty
A breakdown of the rule of law

  • 58: Are You REALLY Jesus' Disciple?
    2026/03/19

What does it actually mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?

Is it just believing the right things… or is it something much than an intellectual assent?

In this episode of The Free Man’s Podcast, we break down what true discipleship really is—and how a lot of people might be misunderstanding it.

Jesus calls people to follow Him, abide in Him, and go with Him.

We cover 3 essential marks of a disciple:

    1️⃣ Following Jesus
Believing/trusting Him, and then by His Spirit and grace, we can deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus in every area of life.

    2️⃣ Abiding in Christ
Living in communion and fellowship with Christ will bring about fruit to God's glory and the good of those around us.

    3️⃣ Going and Making Disciples
Stepping into mission—sharing the gospel, making disciples, and walking in the good works God prepared for each of us to do.

    This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about being transformed as we live and walk with Jesus.

    👉 A disciple doesn’t just know about Jesus…
He walks with Him, becomes like Him, and lives on mission with Him.

    So the question is:

    Are you truly following Jesus?

  • 57: How Congress Tries to Fix Problems… While Growing Federal Power
    2026/03/05

Congress is working on several major bills that could impact energy regulation, foreign influence in education, and medical procedures involving minors.

In this episode of The Free Man’s Podcast, we break down three important pieces of legislation currently moving through Congress and ask an important question:

Are these policies constitutional—and what do they mean for liberty?

    We cover:

    1. The Affordable HOMES Act (H.R. 5184)
A bill that rolls back Department of Energy regulations on manufactured housing energy standards.

    2. The PROTECT Our Kids Act (H.R. 1069)
Legislation designed to block Chinese government influence in American schools.

    3. The Do No Harm in Medicaid Act (H.R. 498)
A bill preventing Medicaid funds from paying for gender transition procedures for minors.

    Along the way we examine:

    What each bill actually does
Whether Congress has the constitutional authority to pass it
How the spending power is used to influence state policy
Why the rule of law matters for protecting liberty
What a biblical worldview says about government authority and responsibility

A core issue is not simply whether a policy is good or bad (thought that matters), rather when government acts outside its lawful limits, even good intentions can lead to the growth of unchecked power.
