In this episode we explore how to become the best version of yourself by yielding to God’s purpose and plan for your life—even before you fully understand it.

God calls you to be sober-minded and self-controlled, cultivating the fruits of the Spirit. These fruits—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—are the evidence of His presence within you. Just as fruit reproduces after its own kind, you too are called to produce these qualities as someone created in the image of God.

The Bible reminds us time and again of God’s standard for living, from 1 Peter 5:8, which warns us to remain vigilant and sober, to Ephesians 5:18, which calls us to be filled with the Spirit rather than succumbing to temporary pleasures.

In Genesis, God declared that you were made in His image and likeness, with a purpose to dominate and replenish the Earth with His love, power, and holiness. But the enemy seeks to trap you in addiction and keep you from stepping into the identity Christ has given you.
