Anne Marie Bush is an award-winning Danish singer, songwriter, producer, vocal coach, and author currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. With multiple songs having charted on radio across the world,, the multi-talented Bush not only is a recording artist and songwriter but operates her own recording studio and record label (AMB Records) in Copenhagen, gives lectures related to her upcoming book releases, and offers vocal lessons.Born in Denmark, Bush attended a very creative school, where she started playing all kinds of instruments. She began writing songs at the age of 12 and released her first single when she was just 16. While still in grammar school, she got involved in all sorts of musical projects, including jazz, pop, musicals, and rock bands. This led to her going on concert tours and making guest appearances on several recordings that were released in Denmark. She also participated in the Danish European Singing Contest, which resulted in the release of an album.Bush attended The Academy of Music in Denmark, graduating as a music, voice, and dance teacher. These years helped to establish her as a multifaceted musician and composer, performing a wide range of styles from afro, salsa, Cuban, jazz, RnB, blues, and gospel to European pop, dance, and classical music. She was also involved in theatre performances including musical composition and dance improvisation.After graduation, Bush worked as a music teacher. But she soon decided to pursue theater and quickly got cast in local productions of Les Misérables (ensemble member and swing) and Grease (Rizzo, lead).The following year, The Danish Nationwide Radio Station in Copenhagen, broadcast a 40-minute live performance of Bush playing her own original songs. This concert was an awakening for her – she felt like she was coming home. Bush decided to focus on writing and recording songs again and she started expanding her international network of songwriters, producers, record labels, and other industry professionals. Eventually, she decided to relocate to the United States.While based out of Los Angeles from 1996 to 2002, Bush established herself as a go-to session and background singer; among her projects was working as a background singer for Britney Spears. She also worked as a vocal coach for other artists while simultaneously pursuing her career as a recording artist and songwriter.Bush’s music has charted on Top 10 singles charts and dance charts in Europe numerous times and has aired on most of the nationwide television and radio shows in Denmark; her singles “SupaSexual” and “I Wanna Be” both charted in the Top 10 for hot rotation play at DR P4, the biggest radio station in the country. Her work has also been played on major commercial and independent radio stations all over the European Union, Asia, and the United States. Several of her recent releases are still getting airplay on 30,000+ radio stations worldwide.She has worked with many elite artists, writers, and producers from all over the world.
