    Authentic engagement is the key!  The coaching tip of the day is "Be Patient".  

    I discuss the 5 different ways to develop leaders of tomorrow.

    *Active listening- Helps you get to the core of your team’s challenges!  They lead/you follow.

    *Team member engagement 101 (meaningful engagement)- For leaders and their team members to collaborate effectively, it’s important that your people are meaningfully engaged. It must be authentic to give their work life meaning. 

    *#1 Job is to find out what matters to them- It's about your team having a meaningful impact and creating their own legacy.

    *Identify barriers to build trust- Establishing and building trust is essential to any effective working relationship. Once rapport is established, genuine collaboration can begin.

    *Provide opportunities for growth- Promote and respect the autonomy of your team while intentionally creating space for personal and professional growth.  I discuss how helping your team develop transferable skills will allow them to avoid problems they never knew existed.  Developing transferable skills will also help boost their mental well-being.
