Every person should have a goal in life. Every Christian should have a goal in life. That goal would be Christlikeness.

Back in Bible days, students would want to become like their rabbis. They would walk with them and learn from them. Today, Christlikeness means to become like Jesus. That involves the same practice. the more we walk with Jesus the more we will become like Him.

Do you talk to God? I think many people do not because they think they don't know how to. Some use meaningless repetition, as if that is some form of conversation. Others never . Others never bother. But the reality, talking to God is communicating what is on your heart. It is not a memorized speech, it is dialogue. You speak and He listens, and then pause, the He speaks and you listen.

This is called prayer and it is a gift God has given to us all. He gave it because He wants to hear from us. That is one way to have sweet fellowship with Him.

People do all kinds of things to find peace and joy. they spend tons of money, travel, change their looks, change their mates, they change anything and everything they can in order to find it. But that never works.

When you became regenerated by the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ, God made you a new creation. Old things have passed away and new things have come. This means you have a new standing with God. You are forgiven and not condemned. You have been made righteous and you have a new relationship with God through Christ. But the question remains,

After Jesus died on the cross His body went into the tomb but His spirit went to Hades. Hades, or the underworld had two compartments; Abraham's bosom for the Old Testament believers and torments for the non-believers.

So where did Jesus go? Which compartment did He go to, or was it both? And why did He go there. These are important questions to be answered and that's what this message will do.
