Before Jesus was crucified He told the disciples He would rise and ascend into Heaven. They forgot the prat about His ascension. But three days after lying in the tomb, He rose from the dead. This time He was in a glorified body; a body that was very unlike in power than the previous one.

He also appeared to His disciples and over five hundred other people in His glorified condition. then, He eventually ascended into Heaven.
