  • The Investor Frame w/Paul Sparks ft. Max Vollmer
    2023/05/11

Max Vollmer is a 24-year-old Real Estate Entrepreneur and world-class track and field athlete initially born in Germany. Max came to the USA as a college athlete competing for the University of Oregon, where he met his wife and business partner, Kaitlin Vollmer.

Max Vollmer accomplished great academic and athletic success while being a student-athlete at the University of Oregon. Max and Kaitlin also started their entrepreneurial journey as full-time college students competing professionally. When COVID hit, both had to adjust massively to the new circumstances. While both were still college students, they dashed out of money, leading to the day when Max and Kaitlin had $76 to their name and needed to take action and responsibility for their future. Knowing nothing about real estate, both decided to jump into the journey of building a real estate business and being investors and entrepreneurs.

Max and Kaitlin started wholesaling vacant land across the USA and started their journey in Real Estate. Initially, they worked long days between classes and training, cold calling people, evaluating deals, and making offers (working from A to Z while learning about real estate). They jumped into this industry with no connections and prior knowledge, wanting to know everything while doing it. Both decided they had no time to acquire direct knowledge and took action immediately. Around four weeks into the journey, and after maxing out their 3k credit card for data and mailing, Max and Katie closed their first deal and made 25k. They took all that money and re-invested in themselves and their business. Eventually, they wholesaled 45 deals in the first seven months of doing business in 8 different states across the nation, then decided to scale their business, build out processes systems, and hire people to help them go from working in the industry to working on and building a business.

Max and Kaitlin transitioned from wholesaling vacant land to virtually wholesaling and novating houses in various markets. Eventually, they scaled into fix and flip and turnkey deals while also starting to acquire rentals. When Max and Kaitlin graduated from college, they decided to move to Tampa, FL, and focus 100% on building a strong and sustainable business. Realizing they were missing certain skill sets and expertise, they partnered with another entrepreneur and merged both companies. Now they are running a fully operational real estate business with 35 employees, operating all over FL and syndicating apartments all over the nation. They also managed to raise money internationally and are scaling to operate an international private equity fund. The business has its brokerage, an acquisition team, a TC department which will transition to its own standing title company, a disposition team, an in-house constriction team, property management, asset management, IT, bookkeeping, and a marketing team.

Their mission is PEOPLE over PROFIT, and they want to inspire as many people as possible and give as much value as possible. Their motivation revolves around the people they work with and the lives that can impact/change.
