Welcome to the very first episode of Scribble Chai: the podcast where we talk about all things intuitive art, from asemic writing to automatic drawing, and where I give the occasional interview to artists who have turned these techniques and belief-systems into a full-blown career. My name is Lina, and I hope today’s topic will inspire you to do some scribbling of your own.

This episode is going to be all about the history of intuitive art, which, when I first decided on the topic, I wasn’t aware of how many branches there are to this art form. I began to wonder if I’d bitten off more than I could chew! But I’ve managed to put together a nice little summary of events, complete with mentions of a few artists, poets, and even famous psychoanalysts that will give you an idea of how much this movement changed not only the artistic world, but also the world of psychology.
