Angie is a Nurse, a Mother, a Mental Health Speaker and Advocate, a Former Seechange Ambassador, a Fundraiser and Event Organiser for Charities and Corporate Events.
Angie has lived with mental health challenges throughout her life, both her mother’s difficulties and her own. She has recovered several times form acute episodes of schizophrenia and is committed to getting the message out there that recovery is possible with the right supports and opportunities.
Angie is her alias as she wishes to remain anonymous at this time.
In this episode we are speaking candidly about being actively suicidal, about bereavement and also about ECT Electroconvulsive Therapy.
