This is a live recording of a the final sermon I preached in 2024 at GCFirst Assembly of God where I pastor. Unfortunately due to internet issues we were unable to stream the service so I quickly grabbed a wireless mic and hit record on my phone.

The big idea of this message is that we can enter a new year ready to walk in obedience, wisdom, love and light that are from our Heavenly Father. We can start the new year intentionally, being diligent to follow Him wholly.

Why does holiness matter? Isn't holiness just about how we dress and if women wear make up or not? Holiness is so much more than that and our own personal holiness matters so much to God!

For all of my friends who are serving the Kingdom around the globe, I am grateful for you today. I can't mention names and I won't mention specific locations but you know who you are!

If you know a Global Kingdom Worker, tell them today that you are thankful for them.

Holidays can be very difficult for those who have lost loved ones, especially parents. Today, I share my gratitude for my parents (and in-laws!) but I want to give a head's up to those grieving. I understand if this is one you skip.

All I can think of this morning is the song from Elevation, "I Trust In God my Savior. The One who will never fail!"

I am so thankful for a God I can trust.

Kids are hard and parenting can be so wearisome at times. It's okay to admit it. It's also okay to highlight the good. So, today it is boys are who I am thankful for.
