The Trouble With Riding Lawn Mowers

Hi, I’m Gail Nobles. It’s Spring again & you know what it’s time to do. It’s time to start the lawn mowers to cut grass, and the thing you may hate most is getting the lawn mower to start. That’s what I hate most about riding lawn mowers.

With the riding lawn mower I have, it does no good to get out in the cold to keep it started. It’s hard to start, and you have to keep it charged up. If it just doesn’t start, you have to get someone to come out and check it, get someone to pick it up, and take it to the shop. After that you have to get someone to bring it back. Once you have your riding lawn mower back, you hope that it will at least last you the whole summer without the belt coming a loose, getting a flat tire; or needing a new battery.

Someone mentioned to me that I should unhook the batter in the winter. That might work, but I haven’t had a chance to try that. My riding lawn mower is sitting in the shed because I need to get a new part for it. I’ve had my lawn mower for several years, and the last time I got a new one, it still didn’t work. I’m thinking that the part I need is out of date, and I might have to get a whole new lawn mower.

Right now, I’m happy with my push lawn mower. I don’t have to worry about it getting started after the winter, and I don’t have to wait to get the job done.

I just want to say to all of you that have a riding lawn mower good luck on getting it started.
