    2024/09/09

What motivates men to get involved in rioting? In this live recording of The Uncommon Bloke Podcast, Calum and Dan discuss the recent UK riots following the murder of three young girls in Southport and fuelled by the misinformation that quickly spread online about the perpetrator. The conversation covers the typologies of rioters (i.e. professional, adventurer, revenge, and victim) and how aspects of masculinity are potentially linked to each one.

    2024/08/19

In this episode, Calum and Dan think about what it means to “hold space”, a term that is potentially used quite a lot in discussions about mental health and relationships on social media; but is perhaps not fully understood or explained that well (as with a lot of therapy-speak). As always, have a listen and let us know your thoughts.
