  • Week 13 Preview, Unlikely B1G Matchup
    2024/11/20

Jake and William are back and they are starting this episode with the Goldie Locks of the College Football rankings. Who is too high, who is too low and who is sitting just right? We only have a few more weeks until the final playoff rankings so we are beginning to get clarity.

Last weekend lacked too many fireworks but we did see a few key matchups. Georgia was able to handle Tennessee keeping their playoff hopes alive and now Tennessee needs to win out in order to remain in the hunt. Oregon avoided an upset after calling a questionable fake field goal while BYU and Kansas State both were upset adding additional chaos to the Big 12.

Indiana and Ohio State will matchup this weekend in an unlikely matchup between top five teams. Indiana is undefeated and looking to beat Ohio State for the first time since 1988. A win for either team and they are nearly guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Kansas will also look to pull the upset for the third week in a row. Will Colorado fall to the Jayhawks? Army is contending for a playoff spot but they have to beat Notre Dame in order to make it. Does Army actually have a shot?

  • Week 12 Preview, SEC Bias?
    2024/11/13

Week 11 is complete and before heading into Week 12, we have to recap this past weekend. William and Jake start by discussing the new College Football Playoff rankings giving their thoughts on who is too high and who is too low. Looking back at last week, LSU was destroyed by Alabama eliminating any hope of an appearance in the College Football Playoffs. Miami finally saw their luck run out and Georgia's streak of bad games also saw them fall to Ole Miss. Who is more likely to miss the playoffs now between Georgia and Miami?

Heading into this weekend we have a light slate of games headlined by Tennessee vs Georgia. A win for Tennessee could knock Georgia out of any contention for the College Football Playoffs. Clemson's chances are currently on life support and they need a big win on the road against Pitt to stay in the hunt for the ACC Championship. Missouri believes they are still in contention for the playoffs but both Jake and William believe South Carolina will end any hope on Saturday.

Make sure to stick around for the Walk-On Weekly 10 as William has a commanding lead over Jake with just a few weeks left in the season.

  • Week 11 Preview, SEC Elimination Week
    2024/11/06

We have our first official College Football Playoff rankings. Jake and William break down their thoughts on the rankings including what the committee got right and what they got wrong. Who were the biggest winners and losers from these rankings?

The guys recap week 10 including Ohio State vs Penn State. The Buckeyes leave Happy Valley with a victory, does Penn State have a James Franklin problem? Clemson's playoff hopes come crashing down while Texas A&M's are put on life support. Georgia struggles with Florida as Carson Beck throws three interceptions bringing his total to eight in his last three games. Could Beck be the reason Georgia struggles down the stretch?

Heading into week 11 we have elimination weekend in the SEC. Alabama and LSU will play to keep their hopes alive in the playoffs. Georgia and Ole Miss face off and a loss will prevent Lane Kiffin's team from having any hope as well. Also Indiana faces their biggest test with Michigan who has the best athletes of any team the Hoosiers have faced thus far.

Don't forget to stick around for the Walk-On Weekly 10 with William extending his lead with only a few weeks left in the season.

William and Jake are back after an eventful week! The Walk-On Redshirts were on-site for not one, but two games this past weekend. The guys talk about their experiences from Nebraska vs. Ohio State and their takeaways as the Buckeyes struggled on Saturday. Beau Pribula and Marcel Reed both entered their games trailing but pulled out victories. Finally, Vanderbilt nearly pulled off another upset. Quinn Ewers and Texas managed to escape, but could this be a sign of trouble in the future?

Which team will come out ready to play on Saturday? Pitt will travel to SMU Saturday night, and both teams may be without their starting quarterbacks. Which team will feel the impact more? • Week 8 Preview - Playoffs Make or Break?
    2024/10/16

Week 7 was billed as the best weekend of college football prior to the start of the season. We had multiple games between ranked opponents and the weekend did not disappoint. Ohio State and Oregon played a nailbiter coming down to the final play. LSU and Ole Miss required overtime to declare a winner. Alabama and Tennessee survived scares from South Carolina and Florida respectively. Most importantly though, we may be getting an eighth year from Cam Rising!

Can Georgia get it's offense going against Texas and avoid a second loss before the end of October? Alabama and Tennessee will face off in the Third Weekend in October rivalry. Tennessee won the last matchup in Knoxville, can they do it again? Both teams have looked shaky this year including losing to unranked teams on the road. Michigan and Illinois will matchup with both teams looking to stay ranked. Finally LSU and Arkansas will play with Jake and William having no idea what to make of this game.
