We learn the definition and etymology of the word "eschew", provide specific examples of this principle in Job's life, and glean life applications for ourselves. Also, we explore how Job's moral example points to Christ and the grace for living we find in Him.

In this week's episode, we continue our exploration of Job's character by focusing on his profound fear of God. What does it mean to have a Biblical fear of God? How does this fear differ from other forms of fear, such as a primitive fear that arises from simply recognizing the divine? We'll define and discuss the difference between a fear rooted in a simplistic dread and a paternal fear that stems from a just view and real love of God's character. Through an examination of Job's own words, we’ll illustrate how his fear of God was a central aspect of his faith.
