  • Our first game of the season sees us heading up to Sheffield to start out 24/25 season campaign and well it wasn't the best of starts to Rooney's tenure! Outclassed and out thought by Danny Rhol and Wednesday who pressed from the whistle and never gave the Argyle players a chance to re-group all game. It was a very poor show thought from the Pilgrims. Lets hope this is a game that you just write off as "one of those" but it won't detract from those who will say I told you so with Rooney. But although we as The Block 9 Podcast were downbeat, stunned you might say, we don't get carried away. There are concerns and the players and Rooney need to turn it around quickly to prove that both can do us proud this season.
