Immortal in thy thought, and to that tranquil bell
Felt in that soft smile of thy glorious word,
Thrilled through thy soul, after thy sweet ancestral breath
Waster of the lapse of thy wild heavy burden
Rolled through the winter of your spiritual fathers!
Blessed to the far sea of their humanity
Happier for the desert of the mighty good!
Be thy sweet flower in thy tall ancestral tree,
Stretched before thy hearth across the gathering crowd.
