On this episode, I discuss a recent a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood to experience Halloween Horror Nights. I had gone to this event previously and used the Express Pass but on this night we only had the regular event ticket. I was curious to see what we could accomplish in the standby lines. On this episode, my guests discuss a recent trip that they took to Africa. They started their journey in California and decided to spend a couple of nights in Amsterdam to break up the long flight and help them with feelings of jet lag. They then spent time in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana exploring the wonders of these beautiful countries. They visited penguins, wineries, and some popular tourist destinations. They also spent a lot of time on drives out into the savanna where they discovered a multitude of animals. They stayed in some great hotels and had some amazing dining experiences. In this episode, my 14 year old daughter and I spent the day at SeaWorld in San Diego. Although there are lots of animals to see, she was interested in riding the roller coasters. We picked a weekday in mid-August and the crowds were minimal. We were able to do so much in just a short amount of time. Listen to hear all about this fun, quick trip.

A huge thank you to all of my listeners! August 15 marked the first anniversary of Travel Adventures with Jaime. It has been such a fun journey this last year and I want to thank all of my guests who have volunteered to share their vacations with us. This year has been amazing and I am excited for what next year has in store.

I also discuss my recent tour at Disneyland, Cultivating the Magic. As the only person who booked the tour this morning, I was given a wonderful two-hour tour learning about the plants and trees that make Disneyland Park so special. This tour was great and I highly recommend anyone interested in learning a bit of the history behind the architecture of Disney landscaping to take this tour. If you don't think you are a fan of plants, you will be by the end of this tour!

On this episode, my guest Margie was invited on the preview cruise for Utopia of the Seas. This is Royal Caribbean's newest cruise ship and the second largest ship in the fleet. This cruise will sail 3-and 4-night sailings from Port Canaveral. This ship is known as the The World's Biggest Weekend because there is so much to do on these shorter sailings. From toga parties to sliding down the Abyss, Utopia of the Seas has something for everyone. Margie also gives some great insight about Coco Cay and Thrill Water Park.

In this episode, I discuss our recent sailing on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. We sailed from the Port of Los Angeles on June 24 on a four night sailing with stops in Catalina and Ensenada. This was the first time that our oldest daughter sailed as an adult and it was interesting navigating this new phase in life. Royal Caribbean has so much to do on their ships and we had a great time. We did the Escape Room and tried Izumi for the first time.
