Paul describes a number of people and relationships he had in his ministry that we can learn from. He suffered well and we can too!

Paul says that he finished his Christian work and that he looks back on his life with no regrets. Our students would be wise to live now so they won’t regret it later.

Paul commands Timothy to preach the word (expository preaching) to guide the people in the church and we need to value this kind of good teaching when we hear it!

We should learn from Manasseh’s life to humble ourselves and submit to the God who is in control whether we like it or not.

Paul explains that Timothy should keep going back to the Bible because it comes from God and it is powerful to effect change in the believers life. We need to act like it by reading and meditating on it this week!

Paul shamelessly tells Timothy to follow his patterns of life and character in the last days. May our students find godly examples in us as their parents that God has sovereignty placed in their life!

With the world full of sin and sinners who seem to be getting worse, our students need to have a biblical expectation about life as a Christian in a hostile world.

A servant of the Lord is called to defend the truth, but to do so in a kind way towards the opponents of the truth because God may save them! It matters how we act towards the enemies of the gospel because they might become our spiritual brothers and sisters.
