Pastor Mark A. Couch was born in Philadelphia in 1974, but was raised in Atlanta. From his late
teens to early twenties, he worked in some of Atlanta’s hottest strip clubs, and even spent a few
months stripping. In his mid-twenties he was an entrepreneur addicted to gambling. After a series
of close calls and failures he decided to reintroduce himself to the God his mother led him to at
and early age. After locking himself in his room to pray and read the Word, 8 hours a day for 30
days he was filled with the Holy Ghost and entered into ministry.
Because of his past, he has a heart for the lost, known for making others feel welcomed and
unjudged; having the unique ability to inspire, encourage and motivate those who have given up
on life, church and God.
Pastor Couch went on and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Carver
Bible College, a Masters of Christian Education from Luther Rice University and completed
graduate studies in Israel. He is an entrepreneur, author, Pastor, musician and writer. He is
married to his soul mate, Ivy and they have three beautiful children, Mark-Allen Couch, Zion Joy
Couch, and Selah Renae Couch.
