In this episode of Saints and Sinners Unplugged, Pastor Ken Jones and his co-hosts Pastor David Menendez and Pastor Jose Prado discuss the book of Galatians, chapter 4, verses 8 to 20. They explore how Paul addresses the Galatian believers who were being influenced by the Judaizers to return to their former pagan practices and rituals. They also examine how Paul expresses his deep concern and compassion for the Galatians, as well as his firm commitment to the gospel of grace in Christ. They highlight the following points:
- Paul contrasts the Galatians' former enslavement to idols that are not gods with their present knowledge of God and being known by God.
- Paul warns the Galatians not to turn back to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, which include both the pagan observances and the Jewish ceremonies that are no longer valid in Christ.
Join us next week as we continue our study of Galatians and learn more about the freedom and joy we have in Christ.
