Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 1 Corinthians 2:12: It can be a mentally strenuous thing, trying to impart the idea of Christ wisdom. Because Christ's wisdom is unlike human knowledge even from our understanding of truth, humanly, we cannot know what Truth is. We as human beings cannot see the Truth with our human minds. The Truth or Idea of Christ can only be discerned spiritually.

We should never try anything without first reflecting on the God within. We should never try anything without meditation! We should never begin our workday without going into the depths of our beings to make conscious contact with the indwelling Christ. The scriptures tell us “I and my father are one.” But that oneness is of no help to us except in the degree of our realization of it.

WE MUST MAKE GOD AS REAL AS OUR MOTHER AND FATHER: We experience inharmony and discord in the form of disease, lack, and limitation because of a belief that we are something other than God. That is the only reason we experience such things. The moment we realize that God is the reality of our being, we no longer need what anyone else has.

We are always surrounded by what Scripture calls angels. They are always within us, as part of our divine thoughts. They are those spiritual impulses which guide us. They direct and guide us even though we are not aware of them. As people brought up with ordinary church experience, we are not aware of the fact that we are constantly under divine government and divine guidance. We are under the law of the spirit of God and the spirit of the law of God.

The human mind is often offended when we speak our Truth. That is because Truth is like an about-face of everything that the human mind perceives. Visualize saying this to the human mind. “When you are still and doing nothing, great and wondrous works can be accomplished.” That isn't very kind to the human mind. Imagine saying to a person who prides themself on their intellect, that all their mental whirling around will not accomplish anything. However, they can have everything added to them in one moment of silence.

One of the great benefits of spiritual work is that it lifts us to a point and place in consciousness where we are ready for spiritual consciousness to unfold. As a result, we will be in a different position than when we found ourselves functioning with ailments or lack. We would have come to a conscious place where we are ready for the next step. We must learn how to sit down and relax to shift our consciousness. We must do this regardless of the challenges we are facing. We must learn how to sit down and relax, whether it is disease or unemployment.

In the scripture from John 6 10 -11, we see Jesus taking the loaves and then giving thanks. Why did he give thanks? Why was this a part of his ritual? We know he was not under any orders to give thanks. So, in giving thanks He must be putting some principles into operation. So, we must do likewise. Giving thanks then, becomes an admission of our source. It is an identification of God. Giving thanks is an acceptance that God is the beginning of all that exists.

As we walk this spiritual path, we aim to experience God's consciousness as our individual consciousness. It is an utterance within our being of our being, an experience which takes place within us, for the Kingdom of God is within us. We are the individualization of all that God is: Son all that I have is thine. Therefore, through this spiritual walk, we will reveal the invisible within us, throughout that part of us which we call the outer or the visible human being.
