These are some hidden patterns I’ve noticed, especially among those who are called to lead.

After dozens of recent conversations, it became clear that many are pouring into others while neglecting critical areas in their own lives. And over time, that neglect has a cost.

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE

Staying rooted in the Word of God, in His presence, and in the authority you’ve been given. Without consistency, we don’t just drift, we begin to forget what we carry and how to stand.

MINDSET AND ENVIRONMENT

How you think, what you’re learning, and who you’re around are shaping your outcomes daily. If your mind is not being renewed and your environment is not sharpening you, your growth can become limited.

PHYSICAL STEWARDSHIP

Taking care of your body so you have the strength, clarity, and capacity to carry what you’ve been called to do. We must give ourselves permission to rest and take care of ourselves… especially the leaders who pour into others while neglecting themselves.

This is about alignment across every area of your life. What you neglect can eventually affect how you lead, how you think, and how you show up.

Dwell in the secret place.

There is a place that God reveals to those who are willing to enter.

A place that is not defined by circumstances, or what is happening around you, but by His presence.

In this place, you are not weak… you are strengthened.

You are not vulnerable… you are covered.

You are not defined by what you are facing… you are anchored in who He is.

This is the place where you begin to see differently, speak differently, and walk with a level of authority that cannot be taken from you.

It is not a distant or unreachable place.

It is the secret place.

The place where you stand with your Father, where fear loses its voice, and where every lie that once tried to define you is exposed.

In this place, what once felt overwhelming no longer has the power to control you.

From this place, you speak with authority… not as someone striving to become, but as one who already belongs.

As co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), as children of God (Galatians 3:26), you begin to move from a position of identity, not from insecurity.

I encourage you… spend time in the secret place with God.

You’ve Outgrown Where You Are

There comes a point where staying where you are is no longer an option.

Not because you haven’t been trying.

Not because you haven’t been carrying weight.

But because something in you has grown… and where you are, can no longer hold it.

You may feel the pressure.

You may feel the resistance.

You may even feel the cost of what it will take to move forward.

But that pressure is not there to break you.

It is there to reveal that you cannot remain the same.

In this episode, I walk through the tension of growth, the weight of responsibility, and the reality that elevation comes with a price.

I read from Chapter 15 of my book “necessary.” chapter title, ‘The Price of Elevation,’ and confront what it means to move forward even when it is uncomfortable, unfamiliar, and resisted.

Scripture reminds us in Matthew 17:20 that nothing will be impossible for you.

The question is not whether you can.

The question is whether you will move forward.

When you first see a diamond fresh out of the ground, it doesn’t sparkle. It doesn’t even look valuable. It looks like dirt… dull, rough, irregular. But it’s a diamond all the same.

The Courage to Surrender: How to LAUGH at the Days to Come!

God has been pressing into my spirit… the quiet strength that comes from surrender. Not giving up, not shrinking back, but that deep, holy confidence of knowing exactly who you belong to and surrendering every circumstance to Him.

Life, family, business… we are all walking through different seasons.

Some are heavy. Some feel confusing. Some stretch us more than we ever imagined. But God reminded me of the Proverbs 31 woman, reminding me that she can laugh at the days to come. Why? Because she knows her Father. She knows her Overseer. She knows the enemy is limited.

And if she can live with that kind of confidence, why can’t we?

So I ask you (and myself) this question…
Can you laugh at the days to come, even in stress, anxiety, or uncertainty?

The heartbeat of true surrender is remembering who guides our steps and who wrote our story before we ever lived a single day.

No matter who you are... man, woman, married, single... this confidence is for you. This peace is for you.

God is with us.

We can laugh at the days to come!
