    Julius interviews Cristina Barreto, member of Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles, on the current situation of visually impaired people in Spain. In the second half of 2023, Spain will overtake the presidency of the Council of the European Union. Cristina explains how this will help the Spanish organizations for persons with disabilities to achieve their goals. At the same time, she also discusses the introduction of the new European Disability Card. #ViewsOfLife is a cooperative media project by European Blind Union (EBU) and ORF_connect for technical support of production. Through this initiative, journalist Julius Kratky will interview people from different EBU National Members to know more about the situation of blind and partially sighted people across Europe.
