I had to pause a video I was watching by a YouTuber I enjoy because it resonated so much with me. The idea of dating has come to mind so few and far between in the last decade for me.

Raising children and the struggle to maintain balance is real. Children will not always understand why we say no to some things they want.

Don't expect much (or anything) from others. When we don't expect much and don't get anything, there's nothing to be disappointed with. Through illness, I'm trying to remind myself to allow people to unfold who they are.
