In this episode I will be taking a deep dive into this little known, late-aughts, crypto-homage to Dazed and Confused and mumbling teen movies cut from the same cloth. It's the summer of 1999 and the last day of school for the year, some forever. We spend the day with Julia and her friends as they spend the first night of summer bopping around their tight-knit suburban neighborhood kissing their best friend's boyfriends, hunting for shrooms, all while subconsciously ruminating on the looming anxieties brought on by their entering of new life stages, which is paralleled by the mystery and dread of y2k.
