What Happened to all the Good Music? | The Long Way Home

Most people, when asked, would probably agree that the best time for music was anywhere from the 1970's to the 1990's. Most of the music today just seems so over-processed, like it came off a conveyor belt.

In this episode of The Long Way Home, I talk about why music today is so watered down, how my taste in music evolved and how the meaning of songs today is much different and completely misses the point of trying to make a point.

Welcome to The Long Way Home, the podcast where we dive into the changes the world has gone through over the past 4 decades! Join host Josh "Bearheart" Hawk as he meanders along this windy road, recounting stories from his childhood in Ohio and reliving the late 80s', 90s' and even the turning of the clock into the new millennium.

We all know the saying, "you can't go home again", and that's more about the passage of time than anything else. Home, at least the way we all knew it as kids, doesn't exist. The world changes, people move on and life morphs into something we barely recognize as we work to raise our kids, pay our bills and try to find some semblance of normalcy.
