サマリー
あらすじ・解説
This week we discuss William Tyndale who was burnt at the stake for translating the Bible into English. We reflect on how the powerful always want to keep knowledge to themselves.
If you thought the RS curriculum couldn't get much worse this week we review their teaching on the afterlife. Surprisingly it's just as inaccurate as the rest of it; focusing on how Christians are all terrified of Hell and how priests are out to control you with the threat of it, so watch out for those scary vicar blokes. Meanwhile the resurrection is dismissed with a incredibly articulate take down of, 'it was made up'. Surprisingly the Qu'ran wasn't dismissed as made up, I wonder why?
Finally we talk about the Netflix romance show Nobody Wants This, Hywel agreed he didn't want that romance show YUK.
The Afterlife question starts around 26 min. The TV show part starts at 60 min.
