  • And That's a Wrap? - Canada
    2024/02/27

Brad and Denise say, "See you later."

Unfortunately, with health and family life, we have to call it quits. We are not sure if this is forever or just a temporary thing. With Denise's Fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and tendinitis in her body, she is finding it too hard to research and edit episodes. Then, with Brad having his attack last year and still struggling with his mental issues, perhaps dealing with true crime is not the best idea for now.

We want to thank everyone who followed and gave amazing reviews, messages, and support. We love you so much. This is the hardest thing we had to do. We loved doing this so much. It gave Denise a purpose and Brad his podcasting dream.

We hope that perhaps one day, we can come back, but health is up in the air. This is so hard and heartbreaking to do. If you want great podcasts to listen to, go to our Instagram account and the Deluxe Edition and check out some of the people we follow.

Thank you, Michelle Goodall, for being our number one follower and also Beth and Bailey from True Crime BNB for being our friends from the get-go.

A huge thank you to our daughter Sam for all the artwork and time she put in on helping us. Thank you, spotedshadow. Love you, babygirl.

Michelle, I talked to Canada Post, and if i keep the weight down, it will be far cheaper, so don't be surprised when you FINALLY get your parcel. Canadian goodies are soon on their way.

In this episode, Brad talks about the story that had everyone in Canada glued to the TV and gripping with fear.

The police force were on the cross country manhunt.  Spanning 4 provinces and 3200 kilometers there were many tips, but even still, the police were all over the place trying to track these boys down before they struck again.

  • Sally McNeil - Killer Sally - USA
    2024/02/06

In this episode, Denise tells the story of Killer Sally.

Sally McNeil and her husband Ray McNeil had everything going for them. They were talented in their field of sports, and were on the up and up, slowly rising to stardom.

Unfortunately with bodybuilding, steroids are used a lot and both had fallen victims to the use. With steroids, mood swings can appear and they did.

Valentines Day 1995, was a day that Sally nor her kids will ever forget. It was the day that Ray met his demise by the hands of his wife, Sally.

Listen to the story and decide for yourself if this was self defense of cold blooded murder.

    We have our thoughts.

  • Interview with Author Patti McCracken - The Angel Makers - Hungary
    2024/02/01

In this episode, Brad and Denise interview Patti McCracken about her  book, The Angel Makers - Arsenic, a midwife, and modern history's most astonishing murder ring.

OK if you know,  you know. Denise never reads these types of books. This was a first for her, and she was hooked. This story drags you into the world of Suzannah “Auntie Suzy” Fazekas and the hard times that was daily life for these people in the villages in the early 1900s

The story goes into a group of women who used arsenic as a means to deal with certain situations. If your husband was not up to standards, why not get rid of him? If you got pregnant and did want the child, why not get rid of the baby? Auntie Suzy had a plethora of knowledge to help you out with your family life. For good and for evil. She also would help you out if you didn't want her help.

This is the story of Auntie Suzy and her helpers who went on to kill at least 162 people but that number could be far more.  Just as you think the story is done, it keeps going with a  twist at the end.

Patti McCracken is an award-winning journalist whose work has been featured in Smithsonian, Wall Street Journal, Columbia Journalism Review, San Francisco Chronicle, Baltimore Sun, Christian Science Monitor, Chicago Tribune, Guardian, and numerous other publications. She was formerly on staff at the foreign/national desk of the Chicago Tribune and was twice a Knight International Press Fellow.

  • Roch Theriault and the Ant Hill Kids
    2024/01/24

Roch Theriault and the Ant Hill Kids were a doomsday cult located in Canada. While most cults create havoc on outsiders claiming that the end of the world is near. Roch would exercise his dark fantasies within the group resulting in abuse and murder.

Just a warning that the details we describe are extremely graphic.

This episode is dedicated to Charlotte Lotje, from the Netherlands. Thank you for the incredible message you sent to us.

  • Otty Sanchez - Cannibal Mom - USA
    2024/01/16

First off, we want to put a disclaimer out on this episode. If you can not tolerate a child murder, then perhaps listen to one of our other episodes or someone else. This was a hard story to tell, and it falls into one of our more gruesome episodes.

In this episode, Denise talks about Otty Sanchez, who had mental issues that weren't addressed, and because of this, she did the most inhuman thing to her own new born boy, Scotty Wesley Bucholtz Sanchez, on July 26th, 2009.

The event of the night is something that nightmares are made of.

  • Dyatlov Pass Incident - Russia
    2024/01/10

In this episode, Brad goes into the very famous case of the Dyatlov Pass.  Since he had so many questions, as do so many people out there, he wanted to bring up some concerns as to why this case is now so called solved.

If you haven't heard of this case like Denise hasn't, living under her rock and all, let me tell you what the Dyatlov Pass is about.

In 1959, 9 hikers went on a mission to gain their grade 3 certifications.

During their excursion, tragedy hit, and all 9 people died. The problem was, there are so many questions about this event. Was it an avalanche, or was it something more sinister than that? Why did the government seal the case until 2019 and only allow 3 scenarios to play out? This case has more questions then does answers, and that is something Brad wanted to dive deep into.

In this episode, Denise talks about Mark Nash, aka Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Mark Nash was the perpetrator of the Grangegorman murders in Dublin Ireland. He murdered 4 people in two separate attacks, and there was even a theory that he may have murdered another person, which we will go into later. Not only did he brutally murder two elderly ladies, but he attacked his own loved ones.
