On this episode, host Akhil Handa (CDO at Bank of Baroda), is joined by Prateek Mehta, Co-founder & CBO at Scripbox and Co-founder & CEO at Upwardly. Akhil and Prateek talk about how Prateek founded a Fintech company (Upwardly) that he sold to Scripbox, being in the consumer internet space, being a banker in the early days of his career, how he got into the world of consumer internet, and how he got to this point in his professional life. Prateek also talks about realising that most Indians save, but they don't know what to do with their money, the many problems that exist in that regard - from problems with discovering where you can invest, to problems with data assimilation. Prateek further discussed how good quality wealth management, how it is so costly in India, and how the prices have just gone up. Akhil and Prateek also talk about how in 2019, Scripbox and Upwardly got to talking, realised they had the same vision, and so they merged together.

Prateek explains how it's easy to get overwhelmed when trying to understand where to invest and to put your money. Therefore, Scripbox is there to simplify this process for consumers.
