Cynthia Rylant, acclaimed author of the popular Henry and Mudge series, delivers another exciting beginning-reader adventure. After expressing a craving for some farm-fresh produce, Henry's mother prompts a day trip to a country farm. It doesn't take long for Henry and Mudge to make friends with the various farm animals. However, there is one animal on the farm who isn't too friendly.

Everyone will stay up late. Best of all, Henry says, there will be popcorn. Mudge gets very excited because popcorn is one of his favorites.

When the night comes, the boys and dogs gather in Patrick's attic and have a great time.
