Pensacola Beach is paradise! A paradise where a serial killer hunts for victims. Seven women with varying tastes in men met the man of their dreams while visiting the island paradise. He was perfect in every way, for a little while anyway. After a hurricane hits the beach community, the seven women are found buried under a beach house.

After their mother dies, Beth, Nicole and Michael are forced to reunite to sort out their childhood home. Beth, the oldest, never left, caring for their mum until the very end. Nicole, the middle child, is drowning in her destructive drug addiction. Michael, the youngest, has moved far away and hasn't been back to their small town since their father ran out on them. When the siblings stumble upon a collection of home videos, it feels like a good idea to revisit those happier memories. But then one of the tapes reveals a shocking scene none of them expect to see.

FBI agent Jeannie Loomis, a flawed but dedicated agent who believes that sometimes the ends justify the means, is attempting to remain below the radar of the corrupt administration at the top of the bureau. While on a much-deserved vacation with her boyfriend, Interpol agent Sean Delaney, she is contacted by the Idaho State Police asking for a consult regarding a recently found body dump—the result of an active serial killer. Delaney is called away after the broadcasting of the Super Bowl is hacked by a group calling themselves the Black Cell.
