Kelpies have come to Savannah, Georgia. The shape-shifting water spirits are on the hunt for a legendary hero, an alpha with the ability to end the curse that forces them to feast on human flesh. When Vivienne Griffin arrived in the city, she had no idea that such nightmarish creatures existed and that they would soon have a personal vendetta against her.

In her pursuit of wedding plans and a beautiful future, she finds herself at the mercy of the kelpies, a group of kelpie hunters called the Comhlan, and a stunningly handsome, too-good-to-be-true entrepreneur named Riley Slade. Will Vivienne escape the wrath of the water horses? Will she find a way to end the curse? Or will she fall prey to the hunger of the kelpies?
