Vilas’s condition was steadily improving. Soon, I was discharged. However, a journey without his company felt incomplete. At last, after 10 days of being apart, we met!

Before entering the operation theatre, I made a quick prayer to the almighty. As the anaesthesia began seeping into the body, I could feel the divine positivity fill the room.

A day's delay would have proved fatal. Like a fragile thread being tugged on either end, Vilas and I were being tested by the difficulties of physical ailments and practical issues respectively. However, around the dark clouds of despair, a silver lining soon began to appear.
