Hello friends and welcome back to Be Still Be Free! We're sure you've already noticed a couple new things around here--an updated logo, refreshed website, new intro music, to say the least. We are a refreshed, renewed and revived Be Still Be Free. You could say we've had a glow up!

This week it's Tracy's turn to share what God's been speaking during her quiet time, and it's so rich! She shares insights from Isaiah 43, Psalm 23 and Psalm 139 (notice our crossover!). Grab your Bible and a pen during this episode, because you're gonna want to take notes!

Isaiah 43:7, "I formed them to be who they are and make them for My glory!"

Psalm 23:1, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want."

Psalm 139:5, "You've gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the heart of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me."

Psalm 139:10, "Wherever I go, your hand will guide me, your strength will empower me."

This week and next week, Monica and Tracy are sharing what God's been revealing and speaking in their quiet times. In this episode, Monica shares some insight from Psalm 23 and 2 Corinthians 12. We hope these episodes edify and encourage you to keep pursuing Truth and read God's word!

Here are the two specific verses Monica talks about in her MIV translation (Monica International Version):

“Undoubtedly and without fail, the truth is, God’s blessing of goodness, his kindness, and his zeal toward me will chase after and pursue me every single day for the whole of my earthly life.” (Psalm 23:6)

“Jesus delights in showing me merciful kindness, therefore, I am empowered by His unfailing strength to deal with this thing that burdens me. I can confidently say that whether it stays or is lifted, Christ’s power will be carried to completion despite my frail humanity.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

A verse that best describes the testimony Monica shares in this week's episode is this:

"Oh, Lord God, answer my prayers! I need to see your tender kindness, your grace, your compassion, and your constant love. Just let me see your face, and turn your heart toward me. Come running quickly to your servant. In this deep distress, come and answer my prayer." (Psalm 69:16, Passion Translation)

God showed up in Monica's life in exactly this way--with tender kindness, grace, compassion and love --when she didn't know she was asking Him to...and especially when she didn't realize she was needing Him to.

What a good God.

It's testimony time! This week we get to hear Tracy's story, and her incredible journey with Jesus. Thank you Lord for what you've done in her life!

"I kept my testimony hidden. I was embarrassed and ashamed of my past. I wanted so badly to have grown up in a Christian home and to have loved Jesus in my childhood, but that was far from my truth. I blamed God for my abuse and pain. In my youth I would cry out every night asking God to help me and when He didn’t answer, I would take that same request and go to the devil. I just wanted to feel better. I was messed up emotionally, physically and spiritually, and by age 14, I found myself depressed, gothic and no longer wanting to live. BUT Jesus rescued me. Many would tell you that I am RADICAL FOR JESUS. It is true. I am alive because of Christ and every good thing in my life has come from Him. So if you have a few minutes and want to hear a powerful testimony of overcoming the enemy - take a listen to my story!

Today, I openly declare God’s goodness in my life. I went from death to life. The enemy has been defeated and God reigns over all. No matter where you are today precious one, please know that God longs to also be good, kind, faithful, and merciful to you also.

'They conquered him {the enemy} completely through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of their testimony. They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own lives, even when faced with death.' - Revelation 12:11"
