  • Sex, Intimacy, and Self-Validation
    2023/03/27

*Trigger Warning: this episode contains mature subject matter including sex, consent, and sexual assault. If you are triggered by these topics, please take caution before listening*

This episode is about coming to terms with my sexual history and the shame I feel around it. I explore consent, power, and what it was like growing up in a world that sexualizes women from a very early age. I also explore how watching the Netflix film Luckiest Girl Alive changed my perspective on a few of my past experiences. I also discuss the importance of self-validation and offer a tool to help you sit with hard feelings, rather than push them away.
