    Thank you for joining me for my third episode of discussions with my friend and colleague Meron Sembaliuk, who is in Ukraine. Meron has been there since the forced invasion by Russia began over a month ago. Since that time, Meron has started an NGO (non governmental organization) in order to raise money for single mothers who need support. His charity has grown from an idea to a concept which is now well into its operation.     Hi there! I'm Christina Cherneskey. In this podcast you will learn more about a new program that’s been launched at the Praxis School of Entrepreneurship in Saskatoon called the Self Employment program for people with disabilities. My first guest will be Monica Krueger. Monica is the founder and CEO of Global Infobrokers, which is the home of the Praxis School of Entrepreneurship and the Praxis International Institute. Among her other accomplishments, Monica was recently sworn in as the Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. In 2020 Monica was recognized as CTV Saskatoon’s Citizen of the year. We’ll also meet Brent Kreuger later in the program. Brent is an advocate of alternative education and works hard to improve the education process. You’ll hear about how he managed to overcome dyslexia and ADHD to become the success businessman and entrepreneur he is today. He is also a principal at the Praxis International Institute. He’s passionate about three things: entrepreneurship, education and the environment. Cody Demarais is from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This former Praxis grad recently won the ABEX award for Saskatchewan’s Young Entrepreneur Of The Year For 2021. He is the owner and founder of Limitless Gear Clothing, a motivational speaker and a children’s book author. He believes life is limitless and he’s a true inspiration.     EPISODE 6 Over 50 years ago, two Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers were killed just outside of MacDowall, Saskatchewan. Sgt. Bob SCHRADER and Cst. Doug ANSON responded to what they thought was a routine complaint, but the manhunt that followed was anything but routine. Telling this story has taken Kate Kading nearly six years of research, interviews, travels, and some tears. The week of October 9, 1970, THIS story was overshadowed in the news by the Quebec FLQ Crisis, and Kate intends to bring it to light once again with her debut novel ON SCENE.
