    1. Create a “Pick Me” List

    - Step Out of Your Comfort Zone Every Sunday, create a list of 15+ people to contact during the week to promote your business. Examples of outreach include - asking to be on a radio show/podcast, writing for a blog, participating in events, or delivering a masterclass. - Consistent Outreach Send three messages or emails daily without overthinking. Get comfortable with hearing "no" and persist in promoting your business.

    2. Nurture Your Own Real Estate

    - Ownership and Control Your newsletter and website are platforms you own, unlike social media platforms which can change algorithms or reach. - Mailing List and SEO Manage your mailing list effectively and optimize your website for SEO. - Regular Maintenance Dedicate at least one hour a week to maintaining and improving these platforms. This can be divided into two 30-minute sessions or as fits your schedule.

    3. Consistent Social Media for You

    - Strategic Use Determine which social media platforms are most effective for your business. Avoid stress by selecting platforms that align with your business message. - Content Delivery Share the same content across chosen platforms with tailored strategies for each. Repurpose content to maximize reach and efficiency. - Persistence Remember that even if you feel repetitive, new audiences are constantly discovering your content.

Elected to Wicklow County Council in 2019, Aoife represents the Bray Municipal District, encompassing Bray, Kilmacanogue, and Enniskerry. Dive into Aoife's journey of community service, education, and advocacy for the most vulnerable in society.

    Aoife has a huge interest in others and has always been a valuable part of Bray's community in one guide or another. She is passionate about helping others and hearing their stories

    Aoife reflects on her journey to becoming a councillor for the Bray Municipal District. She shares her deep connection to Bray, having lived there her entire life, and her commitment to serving the community she loves.

    Aoife's career spans various roles in local government and the disability sector. She currently works in Age Friendly Social Housing and has previously worked in housing, community, events, accessibility, equality, and disability across three local authorities. Her extensive experience has given her a comprehensive understanding of local government operations and community needs.

    Aoife has always been deeply involved in her community. From volunteering with the Girl Guides and Scouts to serving as Chairperson of the East Coast Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force, her contributions have been significant. She is currently Chairperson of Ark Housing Association and is actively working on making Bray the next Autism Friendly Town.

    In this episode, Aoife highlights her advocacy for the most vulnerable in society. She emphasizes the importance of ensuring that everyone has access to necessary services and support, particularly those facing significant challenges. "The most vulnerable in society will always pay the price and should be prioritised".
