  • 16 | How to Truly Surrender (When You Keep Holding On)
    2025/02/26

Have you ever said, “I surrender, God,” but deep down, you know you’re still holding on? I’ve been there. I’ve spent years trying to release control—over my plans, my timeline, my fears—but the truth is, surrendering isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a daily choice. In this episode, I share my personal journey of struggling to let go and what finally helped me release pride, fear, and control. If you’ve ever wondered how to surrender—beyond just saying the words—this episode is for you. I’m breaking it all down, step by step, so we can truly let God work in our lives.

God isn’t asking us to figure it all out—He’s asking us to trust Him. The more we let go, the lighter we feel. But surrender isn’t a destination—it’s a practice. And every day we choose it, we open the door to something greater than we could ever imagine. So today, just let.

    Topics Discussed:

    • Why “just let go” is easier said than done
    • The moment I realized I was still holding on (even when I thought I wasn’t)
    • How I unknowingly blocked my own blessings by refusing to surrender
    • What it really means to trust God in the waiting
    • A powerful prayer and affirmation to help you start releasing control today

    This week’s affirmation:

I am releasing everything to the Lord and just letting.

  • 15 | How to Command a Room Without Changing Who You Are
    2025/02/20

Have you ever sat through a speech and thought, Wow, this is painful? I have. And as a speaker coach, I’ve seen far too many people step on stage unprepared, disconnected, and unaware of how much better they could be. In this episode, I share five essential speaking tips that will help you deliver with confidence, engage your audience, and own your message—whether you’re leading a meeting, running a workshop, or speaking at a major event. I also reveal the one thing I can spot in a speaker within 60 seconds that makes all the difference. If you want to improve your speaking, this is for you.

Great speakers don’t just get on stage and “hope for the best”—they prepare, connect, and bring their full selves to the audience. Whether you’re speaking to 10 people or 10,000, your voice matters, and your presence has power. Let’s make sure you show up in a way that honors your gift.

  • 14 | Trusting God in the Waiting: Why I Stopped Creating Stories in My Head
    2025/02/13

Have you ever waited for something—an answer, an opportunity, a result—and found yourself spiraling with worry? I know I have. In this episode, I share personal stories of times I struggled to trust God in the waiting, including a career-defining decision, a nerve-wracking medical test, and even an airport visa delay that forced me to let go of control. I also reveal the dangerous habit of creating false narratives in my head and how shifting my focus to trust—rather than fear—completely changed my perspective. If waiting has ever felt unbearable for you, this episode is for you.

You don’t have to be comfortable to trust God. You don’t have to feel in control to believe He’s working. But you do have to let go of the false stories and lean into trust—because on the other side of waiting, there’s something better than you could ever imagine.

    Topics Discussed:

    • Why waiting is so uncomfortable for me (and maybe for you, too)
    • How I let fear take over when I didn’t get a response right away
    • The stories I created in my head—and why none of them were true
    • The difference between trusting God and just being patient
    • A powerful mindset shift that helped me wait with peace

    This week’s affirmation:

God, I trust You in the waiting, and I trust You in the stillness.

    Practical Exercise / Homework:

Think about an area of your life where you're struggling to trust in the waiting. Is it a job, a relationship, a decision, or something else? Now, ask yourself:

    • What are the false stories I’ve been telling myself about this situation? Are my thoughts based on facts or on fear, control, and worry?
    • What truth can I replace those stories with? Instead of assuming the worst, what can I tell myself that aligns with faith and trust?
    • How can I wait with more peace this week? What small shift in my thoughts, actions, or prayers can help me surrender control?

  • 13 | The "And" Ministry: Why You Don't Have to Choose Between Gratitude and Struggle
    2025/02/06

Have you ever felt like you had to pick just one emotion? Like you couldn’t be grateful and frustrated at the same time? I used to think that if I trusted God, I had to be only faithful, only positive, only strong. But I’ve learned that’s not true. In this episode, I talk about the "And Ministry"—the idea that I can feel all of my emotions at once and still be exactly where I need to be. I share the biggest leap of faith I ever took, why I doubted it, and how embracing the "and" has changed the way I see my life, my faith, and my relationships.

I don’t have to choose between gratitude and struggle, faith and fear, love and frustration. I can hold them all at once. What if the key to peace isn’t eliminating emotions but accepting them all with an open heart?

    Topics Discussed:

    • The biggest leap of faith I ever took—and why I doubted it
    • The "And Ministry"—how it’s helping me live more authentically
    • Why pushing down emotions only makes things worse
    • How trusting God and feeling frustrated can exist at the same time
    • Why I’ve stopped forcing myself to be just grateful, happy, or strong
    • A simple shift in language that has helped me change my mindset

    This week’s affirmation:

“I get to add "and" into my life because it allows me to experience and feel all I’m feeling.”

    Practical Exercise / Homework:

    • Reflect and journal on this question: Where in your life do you need to add the "and"?

  • 12 | The Umbrella Effect: Are You Stopping Yourself from Receiving More?
    2025/01/29

While sitting in the rain on my second to last day in the Maldives, I had a realization: I’ve been blocking my own blessings. Just like an umbrella stops the rain from touching us, my fear, control, and pride have been preventing me from fully receiving what God has for me. And I wonder—what’s your umbrella?

In this solo episode, I share a powerful moment of surrender and what it revealed about trust, resistance, and letting go. If you’ve ever found yourself questioning, doubting, or holding on too tightly, this episode will remind you that sometimes the only thing standing in the way of your next blessing is you.

    Topics Discussed:

    • A simple yet powerful metaphor for recognizing what’s blocking your blessings.
    • Why we struggle with surrendering, even when we know we should.
    • The connection between control, fear, and resistance.
    • How to release limiting beliefs and step into true trust.
    • A practical reflection exercise to help you identify your "umbrella."

    This week’s affirmation:

I release what is preventing me from receiving God’s blessings and embrace the truth that His plans are better than my own.
