あらすじ・解説
Dr. Felecia T Dunson is licensed clinical psychologist who focused her education and training on working with children and families, as well as, issues of diversity. She is married with three children, including a teenager and two little ones 5 and under. She describes her experience parenting her three boys as “been there and back again! Growing up an African American, female, from a single parent home in the South, resulted in diversity issues having a big influence in Felecia’s personal experiences, pursuits and growth. And, as a parent of three African American boys the incidents of social injustice over tthe past several years, especially the events of 2020 like the death of George Floyd, motivated her to focus on making a positive impact that will change the cycle of discrimination that has been passed down for generations in the United States and across the world. Her goal is to raise the diversity consciousness of children, their parents and everyone in between, believing that together parents and children can break the cycle and change the world. Through her website and Instagram feed she provides diversity related information and resources for parents and children. Her program, The Diversity Workshop, offers virtual groups, courses, webinars, workshops to educate parents about these topics and help them teach their children to intentionally incorporate diversity into their lifestyle.
