  • Fear can be a friend that can protect you from danger. Fear tells us we need to fight, flight, or freeze. However, how often are we actually in imminent danger? Unfortunately, our minds cannot tell the difference between a real threat, and a perceived one. Our minds want us to stay in a confined box of known realities where the outcomes are predictable. Because unknown = threat = death. Fear has the ability to justify all known courses of action and will use any reasoning to not move towards the perceived fear. The mind uses your fears to cripple you and keep you from change because, to be safe, you must fit into the group and act in a way that is perceived acceptable.

    But what if fear fear is actually the gate keeper to the life of your dreams? The one who is showing you the path you must go down to evolve and transform. What if you could see your fear as not only a friend that warns you of danger, but also a guide on your journey from your current known reality to the infinite potential of the unknown? We have two choices when fear arises in each moment. To choose fear, is to stay crippled by your thoughts and emotions and never change. To choose to face your fears, is to be vulnerable and have the courage to create the life of your dreams.

    It can start with small choices in each moment. Each time I choose to face a fear, my perspective changes. Through the experience, I start to believe that I am greater the self-doubt, shame, and guilt that controls my life. Instead, I feel an incredible amount of joy and love.

    You don't need to live a spiritual life or believe in God. You just have to want to change and believe that you can create the life of your dreams. So come on this journey with us, as we too, face our fears.
