  • Episode 694: Ep 694 Mineral Depletion & Chronic Health Issues.
    2026/07/07

Your body contains approximately 100 different types of minerals, but most people are deficient or imbalanced, leading to symptoms like brain fog, lethargy, irregular sleep patterns, and even reduced sex drive. Yet, mineral supplementation remains neglected – mostly because people don’t realize how easy it is.

Finally, someone is talking about mineral replenishment!

Containing each of the minerals the body needs for optimal function, BEAM Minerals restores cellular energy, allowing the body to gain and maintain healthy balance.

On this episode we spend some time with a special guest, who has been coined, The Mineral Geek.

Caroline Alan is a health survivor, mineral expert, and educator on a mission to redefine how we think about cellular health. After a high-pressure career in tech left her physically and mentally depleted, her healing journey led to the discovery of plant-based minerals and their powerful role in restoring the body’s natural balance. Her experience sparked deep research into human physiology and the science of humic and fulvic substances.

Today, as Co-Founder and CEO of BEAM Minerals, Caroline, affectionately known as “The Mineral Geek,” shares this life changing knowledge with clarity, science, and heart, empowering others to take charge of their wellness at the cellular level.

    Talking Points:

More than 30 trillion cells in the body: Minerals are required in the life cycle of a cell and to function properly.

Without minerals the cells struggle to complete basic functions.

We tend to think of illness as something wrong with an organ or a system of the body, rather than a symptom of depletion at the cellular level.

Many chronic health issues are rooted in mineral depletion.

    2026/07/15

You’ve tried the therapy, routines, supplements, maybe even medication… and your child is STILL struggling with focus, meltdowns, emotional regulation, or anxiety.

Guest: Dana Kay, a trusted expert in the ADHD space, a Board-Certified Health and Nutrition Practitioner, two-time international best-selling author, and the CEO and founder of the ADHD Thrive Institute. She is also the host of The Soaring Child podcast and a mom to a child with ADHD, which means her work is grounded in both lived experience and clinical expertise.

Unlike surface level approaches that focus only on behavior, Dana specializes in uncovering and addressing the underlying biological drivers of ADHD symptoms so children can thrive at home, at school, and in life.

She has been featured in Forbes, Fox, CBS, and dozens of top parenting and ADHD platforms. Her method has helped more than 1500 families move from daily chaos to long term calm without relying on medication as the only solution. Her mission is to help families move out of survival mode and into a calmer, healthier, more connected life where children with ADHD are supported in a way that honors their biology and unlocks their potential.

    Talking Points with Dana Kay

-Your work takes a very different approach to ADHD . Can you share your personal story and what led you into helping families reduce ADHD symptoms naturally?

-You often say ADHD symptoms are signals from the body, not just behaviors. What do you mean by that?

-You have a really powerful “trash can” analogy to explain ADHD symptoms and inflammation.

-Most people think ADHD starts and ends in the brain. So where does the gut come into this?

  • Episode 697: Ep 697 Why Everyone Is talking about Creatine.
    2026/07/21

We have a great show planned today and will talk about why there has been a significant rise in people of all ages using Creatine. To help us unpack all the research and studies we have Dr. Stengler joining us today.

In addition to authoring 30 books on health and several best-sellers such as “The Natural Physician’s Healing Therapies,” “Prescription for Natural Cures,” “Prescription for Drug Alternatives,” and “Outside the Box Cancer Therapies,” Dr. Stengler has been published in several peer-reviewed medical journals such as The International Journal of Family & Community Medicine, Endocrinology & Metabolism International Journal, and Journal of Nutritional Health & Food Engineering.

Dr. Stengler’s, NMD. The newest book is called, The Holistic Guide to Gut Health.
A comprehensive yet accessible approach to healing leaky gut and the many uncomfortable symptoms it causes. Dr Stengler is also the founder of The Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine.

    Talking Points:

Is creatine only useful for resistance / power type activities?

There are a variety of athletic events, not just resistance/power activities, which may benefit from creatine supplementation.

-Creatine supplementation with carbohydrate or carbohydrate and protein has been reported to promote greater muscle glycogen storage than carbohydrate supplementation alone.

-May reduce muscle damage and/or enhance recovery from intense exercise.

-Individuals supplementing their diet with creatine experienced less muscle damage, inflammation, and muscle soreness in response to running 30-km as well as during 4-weeks of intensified training.

-There is evidence that athletes who supplement with creatine during training experience fewer musculoskeletal injuries, accelerated recovery time from injury and less muscle atrophy after immobilization.

-Creatine supplementation (with or without glycerol) has been reported to help athletes hyper-hydrate and thereby enhance tolerance to exercise in the heat

-There is evidence from animal models that creatine supplementation is neuroprotective and can reduce the severity of spinal cord injury, cerebral ischemia, and concussion/traumatic brain injury. This evidence was so compelling that the International Society of Sports Nutrition recommended that athletes engaged in sports that have a potential for concussion and/or spinal cord injury take creatine for its neuroprotective effects.

  • Episode 696: Ep 696 Why Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) Is Important for Your Health.
    2026/07/21

A breakthrough in inflammatory support has arrived in the natural health market. PEA, which stands for palmitoylethanolamide, is a naturally occurring fatty acid derivative made in the body and found in small amounts in foods. Several human studies have demonstrated that PEA has broad- spectrum pain-relieving properties, anti-inflammatory effects, and nerve protection.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), is a naturally occurring fatty acid derivative made in the body and found in small amounts in foods.

PEA was first discovered in 1957 by scientists at Merck Sharp & Dohme, who isolated it from egg yolk, peanut meal, and soy lecithin. They found that PEA had anti-inflammatory properties in guinea pigs.

However, PEA’s role as a potential therapeutic agent was not widely recognized until 1993, when Rita Levi-Montalcini and her colleagues published research that suggested PEA has anti-inflammatory properties. Levi-Montalcini’s group termed PEA an autocoid local injury antagonist (ALIA), and suggested that it acts locally to counteract injury.

Multiple studies have demonstrated that PEA improves all sorts of pain. For example, a 2023 analysis of 11 studies found that PEA improved pain of various conditions, including muscle and joints, nerves, gynecological, and digestive. In terms of joint pain, a high-quality study demonstrated that PEA significantly reduced adult joint pain compared to placebo. Moreover, 8 clinical trials demonstrated that PEA was effective for low back pain, sciatica, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Even migraine headache pain was shown in published research to be improved with PEA.

Lipid mediators help to balance the immune, nervous, and endocrine systems, affecting pain pathways related to inflammation. But unfortunately, due to changing diets, many of us do not get the nutrition and activity we need to make enough PEA ourselves.

Supplemental PEA, by Levagen+ is properly formulated for optimal bioavailability, 75% more bioavailable to cell receptors than dietary forms. Levagen+ liposomal delivery of PEA has been clinically studied and shows benefits in joint pain, nerve pain, migraine, infections, sleep, and cognitive function.

  • Episode 698: Ep 698 The Precursor Hormone for Energy, Anti-aging, & Happiness.
    2026/07/28

Today we will be covering the hormone DHEA. What it is and what it does, and how to use it correctly.

DHEA is an anti-aging supplement. It does give an advantage. It is shown to play a role in improving libido, building muscle, and reducing risks of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

To help us to share the health benefits of DHEA we have Hugh Woodward, He is the President of Health2Go, Inc the makers of Twist 25 DHEA cream.

Hugh is a subject matter expert on DHEA dedicating the past 20+ years of his life to studying medical research about it, and starting a company to research, and develop the safest most effective DHEA supplement (cream) that can be made and distributed.

DHEA is short for dehydroepiandrosterone, it is a naturally occurring prohormone we all make and have. DHEA is the most abundant naturally occurring prohormone in the human body.

-A foundation or base building block for other smaller more specific hormones like testosterone and estrogens and about 50 other hormones that are smaller, more specific carbon chain molecules in the cascade of metabolism in the human body.

-Hormones drive our energy, mood, muscle tone, fat, quality of sleep, mental sharpness, immune system, sex drive, and more.

As a result of aging, and a gradual lowering of natural DHEA production after age 25, many of our natural body processes begin to slow down. As a result, most people start to have less energy and gain weight, have lower sex drive, and tend to start losing their mental sharpness and drive, have trouble sleeping and may start to get sick more often.
