    Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 80:3

    Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: -1 Peter 5:6

    DEVOTION
    Based on 1 Peter 5
    Humility isn't thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less. 'Under the mighty hand' acknowledges God's sovereign control. That hand disciplines, directs, and ultimately delivers. 'Due time' is God's time, never early, never late. Exaltation from God lasts; self-exaltation crumbles. The path down leads up in God's economy. Those who bow lowest rise highest when God does the lifting.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
    ADORATION: Mighty God, Your hand controls all things wisely and well. You exalt the humble in perfect timing. I worship You, sovereign Lord.


    CONFESSION: I confess pride that resists Your mighty hand.


    THANKSGIVING: Thank You for promising to exalt in due time.


    SUPPLICATION: Grant me true humility under Your hand today.

    PRAYER
    Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
    PSALM 80:3
    Dear Lord, tonight I ask for restoration. Many events in the day seek to slowly strip away my joy. As the day draws to a close, I want to rejoice in the victories and ask for healing from the tragedies. Restore me, oh God, and shine on me in the night. Let me see Your face before I lay my head down to sleep. I want to see Your splendor and glory and be renewed for whatever tomorrow brings. Restore any parts of my soul that have wandered from You as I tuck myself into the night's peaceful refuge. Bring me to a place of peace, and forgive me for my sins. Restore me, oh God, and shine Your light. Heal me from wounds and burdens tonight. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾

    Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 79:9

    Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. -Jeremiah 33:3

    DEVOTION
    Based on Jeremiah 33
    God issues a blank-check invitation: call and receive answers plus surprises. 'Call' implies relationship, need, and faith combined. The promise exceeds the request—not just answers but revelations. 'Great and mighty things' are literally 'inaccessible things'—truths and wonders beyond human reach. 'Thou knowest not' reminds us that God's resources exceed our imagination. Prayer isn't just communication; it's the key to divine mysteries.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
    ADORATION: Answering God, You invite my calls and exceed my expectations. You reveal wonders beyond my imagination. I worship You, divine Revealer.


    CONFESSION: I confess prayerlessness that misses Your mighty revelations.


    THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the privilege of calling on You.


    SUPPLICATION: Show me great and mighty things as I call on You today.

    PRAYER
    Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.
    PSALM 79:9
    Dear Lord, tonight I rest in the truth of salvation. Yes, even in my wretchedness, You have displayed Your faithfulness. No voice of shame or degradation could ever destroy my confidence in Your salvation. Release my weary bones and tired mind from jealousy, bitterness, and pride. Tuck me into Your grace and rock me slowly in Your embrace. Help me tonight when thoughts of doubt creep in to steal my peace. Help others who are reeling from the same anxiety. Steady me. Remind me of Your goodness. As I sleep and steady my breathing, quiet my mind and speak truth to my soul. Wrap me in Your arms, and answer my prayer for peace. In Jesus’ name, I trust and pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
