Viewership fell sharply within 24 hours of Trumps victory at ALL of the main stream legacy media outlets. MSNBC, according to reports, enjoyed six million viewers per day. On Thursday, two days after the election, they had 600,000. A loss of 5.4 million viewers. The others weren’t far behind.

If they were smart, they would immediately come clean and admit the errors of their ways. Surely they know that when politicians get caught in a lie, usually the public is quick to forgive and forget IF they at least admit their mistake and apologize.

They say that “honesty is always the best policy” … But most folks don’t believe they can change their stripes…

What they should say to their listeners, especially to those that left and to those they shamed, SHOULD sound something like this: (this is a template draft I wrote for them…to help them out … knowing how difficult it would be to get started).

So here we go.

“This network for the past several years lost our way and veered off our national mission of serving the public as watchdogs and truth seekers, the purveyors of honest journalism.

We allowed our Federal Exemptions and access to Beltway interests to cloud our judgement. Our Journalistic oath to serve the American people with unbiased reporting and balanced investigative journalism became, well, tainted.

Instead of taking decisive actions to correct this malfeasance, we opted to double down, again and again, selling the soul of our networks reputation for money, clicks, influence and power.

We demanded the same of all our staff, from writers to editors, journalist and newscasters. All were strongly encouraged to sell their souls for a seat at the table. We have all failed our listeners, subscribers, readers and the American people.

To be honest and in the spirit of transparency, we purposely and willingly chose this path to distort the truth, leaned heavily on negative, false and hateful rhetoric with the hope that such actions would tilt the scales in our favor…to advance narratives we knew going in, were false.

We knew full well, that this departure from our oath could have serious consequences…yet we chose this path with great fervor, believing that we knew better than our readers, subscribers and viewers, what needed to be done, so we doubled down on every story, every lie, and did our very best to promote hatred for the candidate that would not continue to give us free rein and access to opportunities we found favorable to us.

Exposure to our over zealous pursuits and in light of the disastrous outcome of our most recent election, we believe it is necessary to come clean with the American people.

Going forward, we will strive to hold ourselves to a much higher standard, when possible.

Heavenly Father. We come to you in prayer today, knowing that You are more than the God of the Universe, you are ALSO the God of Love, Peace, Compassion and Justice. Four attributes of you AND of your making, that today, have withered on the vine, and must be restored for mankind to continue to survive and thrive in any land.

Over millennium, man has struggled to understand just who we are in You, and to fully comprehend what our purpose is.

We all have experienced the healing power of Love, Peace, Compassion and Justice before, but today, we have lost our ability to understand how to deploy these gifts, in the Hope that all would come to the knowledge of who you are…or the seeds have fallen on dead soil.

America is a divided nation, and we know through scripture, that a house divided cannot stand.

To regain our vision and foundational desire to be a Christian nation and an example to all nations that struggle to represent you and your teachings, we desperately need your divine and holy intervention to rend our hearts and minds and restore sound and civil discourse that is healthy, worthy and mandatory for us to continue as a nation.

Without your divine intervention, this nation will fall like so many others in the past.

Our rhetoric as a nation conflicted and confused, has become too toxic to bear fruit.

Regardless of who you appoint to lead this nation back to footing that is holy and worthy of following, the toxicity will remain poisonous, unless you intervene and empower the righteous to fairly dispense justice and consequences of note to those that mislead your people in pursuit of selfish gain.

There once was a man that negotiated with you to spare his city if he could find just 10 souls that still held your truth high. You spared your people then and we ask You to spare your people today.

God we are asking for you to heal the minds and hearts of those that have been lied to by the deceiver of men. Those deceivers that have sold their souls to deception, corruption, false power and greed. Raise them from their dead and worthless lives and turn them around like you did Paul on the road to Damascus!

Speak to them directly. Silence their tongues until they hear you Lord, or remove them from their podium of lies and replace them with someone that you have anointed to speak truth to your people!

There is only one that stands more principled than the other. One has been persecuted at every turn, by a corrupt and sick system that is far from just and fair. The other was coronated by those that are gluttons to power and influence, lacking in vision and driven by self indulgences and positions that are in direct opposition to biblical teaching.

They traffic in exploitation, deception, blatant lies and hateful rhetoric that divides your people and they are propped up by soulless false witnesses that do not hold true to even the simplest of biblical doctrine.

They have chosen their path and it is not a righteous one, so we ask that they be turned from their wicked pursuits or be judged and removed from their lofty towers of evil in this election. Remove the wolves Lord and use this occasion to prove and establish the right path for this nation.

Anoint a victor Lord, that stands up for the innocent and the voiceless, that stands up for the abused, the struggling and for those pursuing justice, Faith in God and the biblical doctrines that America was built on.

You have not given us a Spirit of fear and weakness, but of power, love and a sound mind…for the purpose of exposing darkness while encouraging others to choose You and to simply practice what You have taught us.

In todays show, we will discuss and demonstrate that words and actions truly matter.

In the real world, when you are interviewing for a job, it's quite common to be asked by the hiring manager, "based on previous experiences, give me an example of a challenge you faced in your last position that was difficult to address and how you approached the issue and what were the results."

This is a very basic question in the hiring process. It reveals to the interviewer, how you assess challenges, examine solutions and how you addressed the issue.
